Story Telling for Leaders hosted by The Humphrey Group

October 19, 2022 @ 11:30 am 1:00 pm MDT

Learn how to connect with others through inspiring & relatable communication at this event hosted by The Humphrey Group!

Audience: Individuals who need to connect with others through inspiring and relatable communication.

Stories are foundational to all major aspects of our lives, from our histories to our cultures, to our visions for the future. There is something about a story that makes us imagine, envision, and aspire. They are how we give shape and structure to our biggest ideas. And they create a connection between storyteller and listener that other forms of communication simply cannot match.

Story Telling for Leaders shows learners how to harness the power of storytelling as a leadership tool. They’ll learn what makes a story compelling, how to tap into their own experiences to find authentic stories, and how to tell stories that inspire and motivate others. Participants will learn how to:

  1. Identify opportunities to use stories in their day-to-day communication
  2. Create message-driven stories that can influence and inspire any audience
  3. Use the Story Spine to craft a compelling story
  4. Craft stories in the moment for a variety of audiences and situation
