Deepa Poduval
Deepa Poduval is a Vice President, leading the Global Strategic Advisory Practice within Black & Veatch Management Consulting. She provides executive management for transaction advisory, regulatory, financial advisory and energy market planning services. Deepa also leads Black & Veatch’s strategic solutions related to Decarbonization and serves on Black & Veatch’s DE&I Council. Deepa brings substantial finance, utility, and energy industry knowledge and has advised various clients on strategic responses to key issues impacting their business. These issues include gas-electric industry interdependencies and related implications for participants in both industries, and executable pathways to achieve net-zero objectives incorporating project viability, risk and future growth. She holds a Masters in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College, a Master of Science in Economics, and a B.E., Mechanical Engineering from B.I.T.S., Pilani in India.
Lisa Fewins
Lisa Fewins is an Associate Vice President and Managing Director of Black & Veatch’s Environmental practice. She has a demonstrated history of working in the consulting, engineering and construction industry and is skilled in Environmental Law, Sustainability, Contract Management, Renewable Energy, and Power Generation. Her experiences as a technical specialist, commercial manager, operations director and P&L leader provide a unique perspective on the practical implications of business decisions on the environment as well as business risks and opportunities. She is excited to share Black & Veatch’s experience in supporting clients’ environmental and sustainability goals through practical portfolios of solutions. She holds a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Natural Resource Law and a Bachelors in Environmental Policy from the University of Kansas.
Kristie Deiuliis
Kristie Deiuliis is a Managing Director at Black & Veatch, leading the company’s Decarbonization Strategy & Planning initiatives. Kristie is a recognized thought-leader focused on business model transformation, investment and de-risking strategies, federal and state regulatory impacts, and technology implementation. With over 25 years in the energy industry, she has led several roadmap projects, driving the development of all economic, policy, technology, and feasibility dimensions. Her experience spans energy industry domains including wholesale and retail markets, distributed energy resource forecasts, market entry and expansion strategies, and business case projects for companies seeking to pivot or accelerate specific goals. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Augustana College and a Master’s degree in public policy analysis from West Virginia University.
Felise Man (Moderator)
Felise Man is a Manager at Black & Veatch Management Consulting, specializing in Decarbonization and Transportation Electrification Strategy. Felise brings expertise in utility planning, decarbonization technologies, fleet electrification, distributed energy resources and customer planning. Her experience spans power, utilities and oil and gas industries, and she is skilled in new business model development, regulatory affairs and rate case proceedings, engineering design and construction management. Felise holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University and a Masters degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from Columbia University.
