Peer Mentoring Circle Program

Member invitation: August 30
Program duration: September 28, 2021 – March 31, 2022

After an incredibly successful program in the first half of 2021, we are launching a second intake of the Peer Mentoring Circle program. The purpose of the program is to build peer circles that meet and discuss specific topics of interest to the group over a six-month period. Better yet, hear what a previous participant said. We received dozens of quotes just like this.

“The W+P Peer Mentoring Circle exceeded my expectations. It provided me with the opportunity to connect with an incredible group of women at other companies whom I wouldn’t have otherwise met. I was impressed with the preparation and effort each member put into planning our sessions to foster meaningful conversation. I learned from each person in the circle and left each session feeling inspired. I plan to stay in touch with this group going forward.”

September 27: Technical Speaker Series #1
“Beyond Awareness – The Core of Reconciliation”

Member invitation: August 30
Event date: September 27 from 12:00 – 1:00p Mountain Time

We feel it is imperative that we officially launch our Technical Speaker Series, where we will be discussing how we partner with Indigenous Peoples to operate our companies on the land in Canada. We also want our members to feel empowered to engage in the activities and discussions that take place around National Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada, which takes place on September 30. We are thrilled to have Billie Fortier, Associate, MLT Aikins and Jorge Aviles, Manager, Indigenous Partnerships & Development at ATCO, facilitate this discussion as they are both well-respected speakers on this topic.

The session will provide an opportunity to deepen the learning through facilitated breakout rooms. These rooms will be a safe space to express what we know, don’t know, and what we want to know.
